"T'as pas une gueule de porte-bonheur..." meaning "you don't have a lucky charm face" was used for the french translation of the punch line "You're one ugly motherfucker..." in Predator (1987).
It changes the meaning of the dialog, robs us of the actor’s performance & the intentions of the director. Subtitles are the only way to go.
